Let me guess...
You don't tolerate caffeine, heat or exercise...
You've been told to or need to eat complex carbs every couple hours...
You've been diagnosed with anxiety or been told "it's all in your head"...
You wake up every night with a pounding heart or wake up feeling exhausted...
And everyone knows you as the one who carries snacks around in their purse or car....
I call this issue Metabolic Hypoglycemia. Whether or not your blood sugar is actually dropping low doesn't matter. What you're experiencing is an energy utilization issue. Your body either can't see that you have stored energy on your body (stored sugar, body fat) or can't access it for some reason.
Metabolic hypoglycemia can be a debilitating condition leaving you feeling dizzy, shaky, anxious, lightheaded, HANGRY, weak, panicky, and with heart palpitations, headaches, urgent hunger, and so many other uncomfortable symptoms.
These symptoms drive you to eat (perhaps even when you're not hungry!) only to spike and crash your blood sugar again, leaving you right back where you started.
It can feel like being in a Blood Sugar Prison!!
Unfortunately, most health professionals have no idea how to help and many of my clients regularly experience gaslighting from medical professionals (especially if their blood sugar isn't dropping into very low ranges but they're still experiencing symptoms).
Remember: you can feel symptoms of low blood sugar at ANY blood sugar number!
Fortunately, I have had the pleasure of working with and helping hundreds of people successfully heal or significantly improve the root causes of their metabolic hypoglycemic symptoms.
I knew that the mainstream advice of "eat lean protein and complex carbs every 2 hours" was only making the condition worse and believed my clients when they told me it wasn't working.
I believed them when they said, "I feel like I'm gonna pass out when my blood sugar drops anywhere below 100," even though that's still in the normal range.
I believed them when they said, "I just can't lower my carbs or work out because it makes me feel terrible."
I knew there had to be another way to heal that didn't involve pushing harder and harder.
From learning from hundreds of clients and digging into the research, I have come up with a 5-step Protocol to help people heal their blood sugar regulation, regulate their metabolic hormones, and finally *unlock the sugar shackles*!
This approach is gentle and soothing. We have to take stress OFF the body. We also likely will have to temporarily stop doing certain "healthy habits" like exercise and fasting because these things, while beneficial for many, are actually stressors on the body.
